Exam Preparation during COVID-19 - Make it an Excuse to Excel

Due to COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent nation-wide Lockdown, Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020 and remaining Interview sessions for CSE 2019 were deferred. Now, we have revised UPSC calendar that revealed new Preliminary Examination date – 4th October and the Main Examination would commence from 8th January 2021.

No doubt it was a tough time; but now you have your clear goal.

Hope you all must have made the best use of the Lockdown period and continued your preparation.

Preparation Plan - Bandla Dinesh Aditya (AIR 270; CSE 2015)

Fortunes opened doors for Bandla Dinesh Aditya as with CSE 2015 additional attempts were given by UPSC and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. 

For him, not repeating previous mistakes was important. He tried to analyse his mistakes in each of the attempts (5 in all) and had not made the same major error twice. 

His consistent efforts got him 270th rank in Civil Services Examination 2015 that got him Indian Revenue Service (IRS – IT).

This success came to him in his third attempt. Though he made it in his second attempt also; but, got a lower rank 491.

He has chosen Literature of Hindi Language as optional subject.
