It is a decision which should be based on individual choice. All are established names and attract a large number of candidates.

Between Vaji Ram & Ravi and Shriram’s IAS for General Studies both are known for quality. If you wish to judge it on the basis of number of candidates, then Vaji Ram & Ravi is surely drawing a bigger crowd.

For History, Career Point (Hemant Jha) could be considered as consistent results, established name for so many years and quality that match the exam requirements support the choice. Insight IAS (S Baliyan) and The Study (Manikant Singh) are also equally good but Insight IAS is relatively new in comparison to other two and ‘The Study’ is better known for History in Hindi Medium.

Among Sociology and Public Administration, we would recommend the later. Public Administration is a very good and performing subject. The success-rate is also very good.

You can think of Synergy (M K Mohanty) for Public Administration. If you wish to look beyond, NIAS (Bhawani Singh), Vaji Ram & Rao or even Rau’s IAS Study Circle can be considered.

If you prefer to opt for Sociology there is not much of confusion. Vaji Ram & Ravi (Mohapatra) and Upendra IAS (Upendra Gaur) are famous for their quality and contribution.

7months have passed but, S.Baliyan (Insight Academy) have not yet completed the History optional syllabus. i joined in march, it is sept right now should've been completed by now or before Oct, but sadly it ll get over before Dec/ Mid Nov. Moreover he had stated with medieval in march, then took world then modern then should have taken ancient but instead he has taken world again. Baliyan should've understand the importance of time of others,
