Notification for Civil Services Examination 2020 out; last date to apply is March 3, 2020

Notification for Civil Services Examination 2020 conducted every year by UPSC is released on February 12, 2020.

Approx. 796 vacancies for various Services and Posts are to be filled with this examination.

As scheduled, the notification for Civil Services Examination 2020 is released by Union Public Service Commission on 12th February 2020.

As per the UPSC calendar, first stage Preliminary Examination is to be staged on May 31, 2020.

The Preliminary Examination 2020 continues to be common examination for Civil Services Examination 2020 and Indian Forest Services Examination 2020.

There is no change in plan of examination, and Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination General Studies Paper II continues to be qualifying with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

The number of vacancies is approx. 796 for Services and Posts that are to be filled with this examination.

  • The last date for receipt of Online Applications is March 3, 2020
  • The Preliminary Examination for the recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned in the notification is scheduled to be held on 31st May 2020
