Saying ‘yes’ to career in ‘Civil Services’ is very simple but it involves so many decisions as at every stage you need to make choices which ultimately reflect in your final result.

You should give enough time to consider all important preparation related issues and should devote these the time they deserve.

Gone are the days when people use to prepare for this examination, stuck with it for years and in the event of adverse results attempt after attempts, they found themselves nowhere.

Now, most of the candidates understand the fierce competition they are going to face and accept that in case of any unpleasant outcome, they can make use of the learning and skills in some other job and the knowledge acquired would help them all over their life.

You need to understand that it is a major goal you have set for yourself. No doubt it is a bold decision and you have to support your decision all throughout till you achieve success.

Make a proper strategy which is realistic and feasible. All you need to do is to follow the road map and keep moving towards your destination. Allow a slight flexibility to adjust little interruptions and practical problems.

It requires a delicate balance of long term-short term strategies with an aggressive effort to cover the syllabus and an impressionable presentation in examination delivers positive outcomes.

This examination was always tough for those who viewed this examination as impossible and a many always found it relatively easy who prepared well, made an estimation of strengths, put up an effort in the right direction and had faith in their abilities; most of them ultimately tasted success.

Come, take on the challenge, have realistic expectations and maybe it is you who can find your name in the final merit-list.
