Final result for Civil Services Examination 2016 has been declared on 31st May 2017. Total 1099 candidates have been recomended for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and various Central Services Group A & Group B
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result for Civil Services Examination 2016 on 31st May 2017.
A total number of 1099 candidates have been recommended in order of merit for appointment to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service; and various Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’
Out of 1099 selected candidates, 500 candidates belong to General Category, 347 candidates are from OBC, 163 candidates belong to SC and 89 candidates are from ST category.
The written part of Civil Services Examination 2016 held in December, 2016 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2017.
Nandini K R has grabbed the topmost rank and Anmol Sher Singh Bedi has got second rank. Third rank has gone to Gopal Krishna Ronanki.
This time there are 1209 vacancies to be filled though this examination. (IAS 180; IFS 45; IPS 150; Central Services Group A 603; Group B 231)
