As the date of notification nears, Government of India has cleared the air around Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and has made Prelims Paper II (Aptitude Test) qualifying.
Government of India has made Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination Paper 2 qualifying with a minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. In this paper, questions relating to English Language comprehension skill continue to remain excluded.
As per the statement released by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), government has approved the following decisions that are incorporated in the Civil Services Examination Rules-2015:
