Small changes by the IAS Officer have made big difference at holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi

By putting things in perspective and the well structured activities by Simrandeep Singh, IAS that have created a big impact and the change is visible at holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Hailing from Jammu, he is 2008 batch IAS officer (J&K cadre) and is popular amongst youth as he cracked Civil Services Examination in first attempt at an age of just 23.

A few days back, Awanish Kumar Sharan, 2009 batch IAS officer from Chattisgarh cadre was in news when he shared his marks scored at school level and even in graduation.

Scoring a meager 44.5% in 10th standard, 65% in 12th and even 60.7% in graduation; still, achieving two-digit rank in coveted Civil Services Examination that too with Hindi medium certainly shows big execution capability of Awanish who could do it with sheer hard work and determination.

An initiative by a state’s IAS institute helps 12 candidates crack coveted Civil Services Exam 2018

West Bengal has achieved what many other states could not.

Civil Services Study Centre (also known as CSSC) conceptualized and inaugurated by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in 2014, has helped 12 candidates mentored by the institute to find a place in the merit-list of the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2018. The CSSC is under CEPM headed by Moloy De, Chief Secretary of West Bengal and is run by a young IAS, Rajanvir Singh Kapur.
