Apurva had schooling in Arunachal Pradesh, and then in Delhi, and done her graduation from Sri Venkateshwara College, New Delhi where she got attracted towards career in Civil Services. “When I was in third year of graduation, I finally decided to take a plunge” she said.
Elaborating her approach towards this examination, she said, “when I was deciding about Civil Services Examination, I planned my strategies and took Law as one optional subject as I was pursuing Law. For second optional subject, I could have looked at my own subject Literature of English Language but, when I saw the syllabus, I found it difficult to manage with graduate-level study.
So, I took advice for second subject from my friends and family members and after having a look at syllabus of Public Administration, I decided in favour of it.
A confident looking Apurva feels that it is not that difficult and candidates should not take too much of stress.
One should understand the UPSC requirements and should put in focused hard work to emerge successful.
