Capability, Courage and commitment are the keyword in Civil Services Examination arena and reflect clearly in the CSE 2012 results released by UPSC on May 3, 2013.
In all 998 candidates have found place in the merit-list (753 male and 245 female) have been recommended for selection for various central services that include Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Revenue Service (IRS) etc.
At last perseverance bears fruits for Harita V Kumar who secured the top rank in her fourth attempt.
In first attempt, she face negative result. In her second attempt Harita secured 179th rank. Although in third attempt was not upto satisfaction as her rank dropped to 294, but, the charm of ‘IAS’ post kept her motivated that produced the scintillating outcome.
She is B Tech (E & C) from Kerala University and had Economics and Literature of Malayalam Language as optional subjects.
With her success in earlier attempt, she got Indian Revenue Service (Custom & Central Excise) and has been under probation (undergoing training at National Academy of Customs Excise and Narcotics (NACEN), Faridabad.On Saturday 4th May 2013
