Candidates appearing in Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2018 (including Indian Forest Services (Preliminary Examination) are advised to download their e-Admit Cards and take a printout thereof.

UPSC has released the calendar for Civil Services Examination 2018 that clearly indicates the dates for notification as well as Preliminary and Main Examination dates.

As per the schedule for next year, the Preliminary Examination 2018 would be held on June 3, 2018 and Main Examination would commence on October 1, 2018.

There will be Penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by candidates except some of the questions where the Negative Marking will be inbuilt in the form of different marks being awarded to the most appropriate and not so appropriate answer for such questions.
